If you lack sufficient cloud understanding you will totally waste your time moving on from here.

Experience shows that you need a basic understanding of cloud and cloud security to be successful in the CCAK exam. If not, you are practically guaranteed to fail.

The CCAK courseware states that, but does not make you aware of that, weirdly enough. So you feel that you understand it all, but you don't. 

If you have gone through CCSK, even if you did not formally pass the CCSK exam, you should be good. Equally with CCSP and possibly some other cloud courses.

To test yourself, here is a provisional survey I put up, testing your CCSK (version 4) knowledge. I have anecdotal evidence that it makes all the difference.
